Turinabol

Turinabol

With a chemical name 4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone (CDMT), one can see its resemblance to Dianabol. T-bol is actually an adjusted form of Dianabol (methandrostenolone), in fact, it is a mixture of the chemical composition of Dianabol and Clostebol (4-Chlorotestosterone), hence the chemical name. The changes to its chemical composition allow T-bol to be non-aromatizable and also to have a much reduced androgenic property. Hence, the nickname ‘mild Dianabol.’

What is Turinabol?

T-bol is an oral anabolic steroid, which has quality anabolic activity and only a few androgenic effects. So, it is majorly used for bulking but can sometimes be used for building strength. Its action is not immediate it allows athletes to develop their muscles with ease slowly and eventually attain full development. The strength, weight, and mass of muscles will be of good quality.

History of Turinabol

Its birth was in the 1960s with an initial intent to be used in promoting bone strength and mass in sufferers of wasting diseases. T-bol was also used to increase beyond normal the performance of East German athletes. According to a research, approximately 10,000 athletes presented with the use of this steroid over the course of two decades. The production of T-bol was stopped in the early 1990s when the anti-steroid movement was at its peak. Its original producer Jenapharm was sold in 1996 to Schering AG. However, the production of Turinabol stopped. T-bol has not been manufactured for medical use for decades, meaning that this steroid is not cleared for human use, neither has it been tested for purity or safety.

Function and Traits

On a useful basis, the traits of oral T-bol are very straightforward and unique. Following other steroids, it should have a positive influence on nitrogen retention and synthesis of protein, as well as in the increase of red blood cells count. These traits are all significant as they intensify one’s anabolic atmosphere. Due to the duration of the presence of nitrogen, proteins and red blood cells traits, one cannot find traces of this increase in a user of oral T-bol, as they might be with many other steroids. However, they are still present and quite beneficial. Moreover, Turinabol will enhance such traits with a milder nature because it lacks the ability to aromatize, and it carries such mild androgenic activity. This can be of great benefit to an individual who during his progress still needs to keep it as clean as possible. Another important trait of T-bol is that you will frequently find this steroid being used by bodybuilders in “stacks.” This is because it can help raise free and active testosterone levels, thanks to its ability to reduce sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). This trait helps to enhance the benefits of the other steroids being used. It does not carry this ability as actively as a few other steroids, but it is still present.

Positive Effects

As previously stated, Turinabol can develop much more powerful and long-lasting muscle tone and mass. Therefore, the athlete who uses it should not expect to gain strength, muscle, and weight overnight. It is categorized as a long-term anabolic steroid. Thanks to its low dosage, it is easily and quickly absorbed by the body, and the metabolites are expelled through urine.

Anti-doping tests usually don’t detect T-bol if the athlete pauses administration five days before a competition. T-bol does not cause water retention because of its water and minerals balance. It is less androgenic than other anabolics like Dianabol. This trait also makes it possible for women to use it quite easily. Although, they have to be careful not to go past the prescribed length of administration.

Chlorine substitution prevents any interaction with aromatase. Hence there is little to no risk of gynecomastia or dihydrotestosterone conversion. This anabolic steroid is an excellent choice for developing your body naturally. In fact, due to its ability to build full muscles, many athletes also use it during the off-season. This gives them the leverage to get ready and strengthen their muscle without gaining extra mass.

Generally, athletes and bodybuilders can expect steady and quality lean muscle gains with little to no risk of bloating, gynecological, or other estrogenic consequences. Mass, as well as strength gains, are not known to be sizeable due to its lack of anabolic strength. But, slow and quality lean gains that grow steadily over time can be anticipated. It is also used as a great cutting agent during periods of fat loss or during the preparation period for a contest due to its inability to convert into Estrogen.

Negative Effects:

Although it is a mild anabolic steroid, it still has some side effects as other steroids but mainly occur in an increased dose or the long run.

Estrogenic: due to its lack of the ability to aromatize, T-bol does not carry any progestin related traits. Therefore, making it impossible for it to hold any negatives on the estrogenic nature. It also reduces the risk of high blood pressure which is usually as a result of water retention as it cannot generate this problem.

Androgenic: in higher doses, T-bol can cause androgenic symptoms as increased aggressiveness, severe acne, and roid rage. T-bol is also metabolized by the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme into a much stronger androgenic metabolite, but the rate of 5AR reduction that T-bol is exposed to is known to be not so serious. When facing the androgenic adverse effects of oral T-bol, the one of more concern will be females having the male pattern of hair distribution and other masculine physique traits (virilization) symptoms. Females can use this steroid without getting the male pattern of hair distribution, but the dose must be kept low, or virilization will undoubtedly occur.

Virilization symptoms include a deepening of the voice, increased body hair growth and enlargement of the clitoris. If such symptoms begin to show, immediately discontinue medication and they will disappear. If such symptoms are ignored it is possible that they may get to a stage where they become irreversible.

Testosterone: we all know that most anabolic steroids alter the production of endogenous testosterone in both male and female to different degrees. Not minding the fact that oral T-bol is known to be mild, it can still cause inhibition of testosterone. Although T-bol cannot interact with estrogen receptors (ER) in the hypothalamus or progesterone receptor (PgR) and cause suppression, it can still interact with the androgen receptor (AR) and decrease the production of gonadotropins.

Meaning a Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) is recommended when T-bol use has been stopped. Anti-Estrogens such as Nolvadex and Clomid can be used to increase endogenous testosterone production in a case where T-bol was used in stacks. In most cases, once the use of Oral T-bol comes to an end, natural testosterone production will begin again automatically. However, natural levels will still be decreased, and it will take a while to recover properly to healthy levels. Hence, the PCT.

There are a few significant things to take notes of on natural recovery, the primary one being that no decreased testosterone condition existed prior to anabolic steroid use. Furthermore, natural recovery presumes no severe damage was done to the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular-Axis (HPTA) through improper anabolic steroid use. Women do not need to supplement with exogenous testosterone when using Oral Turinabol.

Hepatotoxic: if one already has a liver-related issue, one should not use T-bol. If you are healthy enough to use T-bol, make sure you do all that is possible to maintain a healthy liver. First and foremost, excess alcohol consumption should be a NO for you when using this steroid. Heavy consumption will give even more stress to the liver and enormously increase the potential for damage.

As a matter of fact, avoiding all alcohol during use is not a bad idea. Always have it in mind that alcohol is perhaps the most anti-performance substance in the world and your very reason for supplementing with Oral T-bol is to promote performance. Hopefully, you will remember. Truth be told, with proper use it will be more than possible to avoid or bypass any liver damage, but this requires great responsibility.

Cardiovascular: cholesterol levels can be altered when oral steroids are being used, even for a short period of time. Research has shown that high cholesterol is one of the most crucial steroid-related adverse effects that bodybuilders want to avoid. The clogging of the vessels, high blood pressure, high LDL and low HDL can and will result in coronary heart diseases (CHD) if correct precautions are not taken. It is thereby advised; all oral steroids are taken for cycles of six to eight weeks and then stopped. Support supplements are also advised the same, which includes, Curcumin, Citrus Bergamot, Vitamin K2, and Omega-3.

Most people like T-bol. It actually gives you back what you put in and doesn't mess with you in the process. Some do feel, however, that it would probably be best used if you are looking into kick-starting your testosterone cycle, as a stand-alone during your cutting cycle, or probably for beginners and people wanting to just "try" it.

Oral T-bol has come up in recent years on the black market with people using it excessively in doses of about 100 mg daily. At this dose, one would wonder if the product contains the appropriate amount of steroid or it is underdosed or if it is even just another case of “the more, the better”. I would say it is not something you should expect to receive extraordinary results from, but what you’ll receive at the end of the day is worth it.
